- By submitting bids, Bidders are bound by these Terms & Conditions.
- AUS reserves the right to withdraw the item, at any time, from the bid in case the ‘Reserve Price’ is not met or for any other reason .
- By submitting a bid you confirm you have the funds to pay immediately available if you are awarded the gold bar(s).
- You may submit as many bids as you wish.
- Your bids are confidential and should not be disclosed to anyone.
- Each bid constitutes a binding commitment and bids cannot be withdrawn.
- The bidder acknowledges that s/he is eligible to participate in the auction and is not ineligible according to the rules and procedures listed above under the ‘Eligibility’ section.
- You are required to login with your own AUS credentials prior to placing the bid and this must not be shared with anyone else.
- Making bids with false information is prohibited and may result in further action.
- The winning bid in the auction will be the highest bid that exceeds any reserve. In the case of equal bids, the earliest bid received will be the winning bid.
- The winners will be contacted to ensure that payments are made before announcing their names.
- The winning bidder will be required to sign an agreement between the donor and AUS which sets out the provenance of the gold bar.
- The Auction winners may be included in communications with AUS Alumni.
- Any associated shipment, courier and insurance charges will be paid directly by the winners.
- Each gold bar will be accompanied by an authenticity certificate provided by Bafleh Jewelry. Please note that due to the special custom design for AUS, these bars may not necessarily be hallmarked.
